Easy Double Chocolate Sourdough Muffin Recipe

Today, we're we are whipping up these yummy double chocolate sourdough muffins!

They are rich and moist, super easy to make, and a go-to sourdough recipe!


– chocolate chips – all-purpose flour – cane sugar – sour cream – sourdough starter

Preheat oven to 400° Fahrenheit (204° Celsius). Grease a 12-cup muffin tin or use paper liners.


In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.


In a separate bowl (or stand mixer) whisk together the sourdough discard, butter, eggs, sour cream, milk, and vanilla extract.


Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened.


Fold in chocolate chips. Spoon batter, filling the cups until they are at the rim.
