Why Building a Business as a Mom Looks Different

Because we really don't have much time. We build in the margins of our day, during nap times, evenings, or whenever real life allows. (I sometimes want to shake my past-self during my university years, or even in my law career, with no real responsibilities, thinking I didn't have time.)
Because we have to rely heavily on compound growth. Since we don't have much time to invest, we need to work on things we know are going to work for us when we're not available.
Because consistency will look different for us. We don't always have the luxury of showing up daily or even weekly, so we work in sprints and adjust our hours around life. Which leads to…
